IN LOVING MEMORY OF GODFREY ERIC WASWA **29th July 1979 – 9th October 2026** It is with deep sorrow and heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of **Godfrey Eric Waswa**, affectionately known as Eric, who departed this life on Friday, 9th October 2026, following complications arising from a blood clot in the brain after a fall. Eric was born on 29th July 1979 to the late Zackayo Waswa and the late Margaret Waswa. He was a beloved brother to Fanice, Fred, Dr. David, the late Anthony, Bernard, Dr. George, and Selestine. He was a loving and devoted father to Brian, Elsie, Tumisho, Ruth, and Asher, and husband to the late Mariana Mwachanya. His love for his family, dedication to his children, and commitment to those around him will forever be cherished. Eric was an accomplished professional in the financial sector. He began his educational journey at Kimatuni R.C. Primary School before proceeding to Chesamisi High School. He later pursued a Bachelor of Science in Financial Engineering at Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT)and a Master of Science in Financial Engineering at the University of Pretoria, South Africa. Throughout his distinguished professional career, Eric served in several reputable financial institutions, including Kingsland Court Trusts and Benefits Services Limited, ICEA Lion, and the Central Bank of Kenya. His professional achievements reflected his dedication, expertise, and commitment to excellence. Eric will be remembered for his contribution to the financial sector, his devotion to his family, and the lasting impact he made on the lives of those who knew him.
